What is the provably fair system?
The provably fair system is a mechanism that allows for fully transparent and fair draws.
Thanks to this system, every user can verify the outcome of a draw and be assured they were not cheated.
How can you prove the system is fair?
1. First, we publish a list of participants along with their checksum on our Twitter account: https://twitter.com/bestwaygg_robux.
This allows everyone to verify that the file content has not been altered since its publication.
2. After publishing the participants list, we share another post containing a signature generated by the random.org service.
The draw result can be verified using this signature on the website https://api.random.org/signatures/form.
3. Everyone can check and compare that the time of the participants list publication is earlier than the generation of the draw result by the random.org service.
This ensures that our draws are fair and transparent.
4. If you participated in a draw and did not win, you can verify whether your account ID is on the participants list and confirm you had a chance to win.
The account ID can be found in the app under "My Account" -> "Account ID".
How do giveaways work in our app?
1. After the giveaway ends, we create a list of participants with their ticket counts, assigning each user a range X-Y (1 <= X, Y < total number of tickets) based on their ticket count, and save it as a CSV file.
2. We calculate the MD5 checksum based on the participants list from the previously saved CSV file.
3. We publish the participants list along with the checksum on our Twitter account: https://twitter.com/bestwaygg_robux.
4. After publishing the participants list, we use the random.org service to generate a random number within the range [1; total number of tickets].
5. The drawn decimal number corresponds to the range X-Y of the winner from the previously published participants list.
6. We conclude with another post on our Twitter account: https://twitter.com/bestwaygg_robux, containing:
Winner id - ID of the drawn user,
Winner tickets - number of tickets of the winner,
Total tickets - total number of tickets,
Result random number - drawn decimal number from the random.org service,
Random data and Signature, which are required to verify the draw result on the website https://api.random.org/signatures/form.
